Still in final homework phase of prepping for my first NFT releases, of my portrait of James Dean. I will make several different sizes of the high quality copy (of the original painting); and, for the best appearance, issue each size in different ppi resolutions. Also, the various sizes will be issued as limited edition series, with varying numbers of copies:

Edition 1: There will be 11 NFTs in the series of the largest (20″ x 25.5″ image) copies of the portrait (“JD Concentrating”), at 1250 ppi resolution.

Edition 2: 101 NFTs of the 17″ x 21.5″ images, at 1250 ppi res.

Edition 3: 201 NFTs of the 12″ x 15″ images at 900 ppi res.

Edition 4: 301 NFTs of the 10″ x 13″ images at 900 ppi res.

Edition 5: 501 NFTs of the 12″ x 15″ images at 600 ppi res.

Edition 6: 601 NFTs of the 8.5″ x 10.6″ images at 600 ppi res.

Edition 7: 701 NFTs of the 6″ x 7.7″ images at 600 ppi res.

Edition 8: 801 NFTs of the 5″ x 6.3″ images at 300 ppi res.

Edition 9: 901 NFTs of the 2.3″ x 3″ images at 300 ppi res.

Note: The actual sizes will vary slightly from those shown above; and starting prices will vary per series, in inverse proportion to the number of NFTs per series.

It is a pleasure and an honor to announce that I am helping my dear friend Miss T. Harriette “Honey” Paine produce and publish her forthcoming “Paine Report” blog. I just tried to post the following text to a subreddit group that seems to be sincerely interested in discussing all potential uses of OpenAI’s GPT systems. However, as soon as I clicked to post, I got a rejection notice. I did not get any good reason, no explanation at all. So, see for yourself, and see if you can find a really good reason for anyone rejecting the possibility of using a totally ethical AI IT ecosystem for the good of all generations, ASAP (not for mainly profit, despite global consequences).

Here’s my post, re: the case for a StarTrek-gen AI-IT ecosystem:

“We are no closer to equaling the AI-enhanced IT ecosystem of Star Trek’s first season’s (etc.) than we were back then. Why not? Well, that may be open to debate, but I say it’s the for-profit pirate paradigm that came to dominate all strata of modern civilization’s sociocultural infrastructure, including academia & the IT industry.

“Would the best possible AI-enhanced supercomputer ecosystem design a global telecomputing swamp like what we put up with today? No, that would clearly be a totally illogical impossibility, unless that AI-enhanced supercomputer ecosystem was designed to enrich anti-ethical entrepreneurs at the expense of all others (of all generations & species).

“So, does anyone out there want to explore the potentials for draining the for-profit telecomputing swamp, with the help of an appropriately ethical AI-sys-dev-logic-analyst? BTW, I suggest starting with analysis of the a.) basics, b.) inefficiencies, c.) vulnerabilities, d.) mushrooming complications, and e.) the whole-world-system real-world costs of existing CLangs + bloatware + “fixes”/patches of the “Legacy” IT ecosystem that fail to cure it.

“Note: Please, recall that the original StarTrek AI-enhanced IT ecosystem was not-for-profit, nor was it a monstrous fake-super-human “singularity” that had a fake-personality that competed with anybody, for dominance, etc. Why (& why not)? It seems to me (and Gary Kasporov, among others) that the most profitable use of AI-enhanced automation will always be augmentation of human capabilities. In fact, we already see that most of us (even coding nerds) are highly resistant to being replaced by superior machines. In other words, thanks to the market dynamics of late-stage consumerist capitalism (and pandemic normalized neurosis), the vast majority of us won’t buy into being replaced by a.) fake people, or b.) a fake god. Of course, despite nearly 60 years of observation & contemplation of civilized insanities, I could be wrong about some or all of the above. So, your feedback is very welcome. November 16, 2024 – The iParty evolved into a global meta-political responsible Party association, and this is the new first-draft introduction:

The Meta-political Responsible Party Alliance (MRPA) started as a work of political satire, activism in the guise of comedy, originally it was the Free Party. Recently it morphed into the iParty (the Intelligent Party). Then the “news” kept getting more outrageously absurd and dangerous. So, since Trump won re-election (illegally), it’s clearly time for a whole new approach to sane governance, with next-gen “AI” help.

For example, now, national governments, existing political parties, NGOs, the UN, and politicians are not solving our worst problems. In fact, they make them all worse by wasting time, by not orchestrating a real solution. None of all that is OK, and it’s the opposite of funny.

In fact, the time is clearly over-ripe for an upgrade of our antique systems of government, money, and the obsolete socioeconomic system ruining the world.

Who can do it? Only we (up to 100% of us) can reverse the processes threatening all communities, all cities, all nations, and all generations here now, and to come.

How do we do it? Together, we create a new, effectively ethical ASI-enhanced* meta-political association. We then use our intelligence, ancient wisdom, and all our collective creativity, talent, skills, and productivity to propose sustainably effective solutions for all parts of our whole-world-system problem. There is no other real solution that will save us, our habitats, and civilization.

*Note: “ASI” = adaptive systemic intelligence which is emergent/evolutionary or, on the other hand, a system labelled “autonomous super-intelligence” even if it’s extremely unwise or evil.

What is The Problem, exactly? It is us and our anti-ethical world-game, the second phase of human civilization.** Letting a tiny minority of elites corrupt a larger minority of servile consumers, to make an ever-growing majority of us poorer (and more envious, jealous, desperate, hateful and/or hostile) was always doomed to cause general ruin. So, over nearly 3500 years, Civilization 2 (Civ.2) became increasingly self-destructive, potentially ecocidal.

**Note: Civilization phase 1 (Civ.1) ended in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption in the Mediterranean Sea that vaporized the island called Thera (Santorini Island is the remains of the caldera), once the thriving center of Euro-Minoan civilization. It happened in about 1635 BCE, triggering global climatic catastrophes that ended many other cultures, causing the chaos that caused the Great Collapse of most Bronze Age civilizations. The mass-PTSD since then reinforced the destructive tendencies of Civ.2 that now threaten all of us with ecocide, Great Die-off level mass-extinction (of almost all species).

So, to enable and guide transition to a bioethical civilization worth sustaining, Civilization 3 (Civ.3), we clearly need a new global meta-political alliance of well-informed people, wisdom councils, and truly effective NGOs (etc.). A new draft of the MRPA’s founding charter & policy document is ready for editorial and conceptual review and comment, etc. It includes a mission statement, strategic goals, bio-ethical policy initiatives, and the bioethical basis of a meta-political advocacy and policy-making association. Today, almost exactly 2 months after beginning work on my “Beyond the Gates of Eden” I finished “So Lucky” (my 38th lyric work of post-Gonzo eco-poesy).

> Now, since my new little works have received such underwhelming response, I did my best to make “So Lucky” a mostly happy, uplifting piece of celebratory Rockabilly doggerel. In fact, though I was going to post it yesterday, this AM I realized that I needed to make it even more like a wildly joyous Jerry Lee Lewis rock classic (especially the finale). Hope you enjoy the Heck outa it.

Naturally, as always, human life is still more about quality of life than quantity of stuff. So, since our quantity of life is destined to diminish, the call to alliance and action (@ the link below) is all about how we could ensure our best possible quality of life.

The bioethical paradigm of the Global Community Development Alliance (GCDA) and its Global Community Credit System (GCCS, establishment & launch process pending) integrate the 9 maxims listed below:

1. Do for other beings as you would have them do for you.
2. Help other beings as needed, without harm.
3. Give and share as generously as feasible.
4. Foster and support personal & cultural wellness.
5. Foster and support lively commonwealth.
6. Foster and support political ethical integrity.
7. Foster and support personal ethical integrity.
8. Foster and support communal sustainability.
9. Foster and support robust ecological diversity.

As you can See, those Nine Maxims of Bioethics encompass and express all the intrinsic principles of a healthy communitarian cultural paradigm. So, if each member of a culture understands, appreciates and lives in the Way of Community enabled by the bioethical paradigm of cultural sanity, then the outcome will be optimal. Otherwise, since causes always precede results, the quality of a culture’s outcomes will be determined by the degree to which it accords with or deviates from the Way of Community.

Hence, obviously, a civilization worth sustaining must have a positive, nondestructive socioeconomic paradigm supporting a bioethical monetary/credit system. That makes counteracting any negative, debt-for-profit currency system designed to cheat people and communities out of their cultural commonwealth, freedom, self-reliant interdependence and optimal evolutionary potentials.

The GCDA and GCCS are designed to enable that.
